How we measure
We score the signals. We don't ask the AI engines directly — yet.
ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI search don't have a public "did you quote this page?" check. So we score the signals those engines look for — schema markup, quotable facts, clean HTML, internal links, author trust. Fix those signals and the citations generally follow. We'll add direct AI-engine checks in our next release; this signal score is the best leading indicator we have.

Can AI quote you?
Stats, FAQ blocks, lists, definitions — the chunks AI search actually pulls into answers.
Are you a go-to source?
Internal links, content depth, topic focus. AI search prefers pages that live in a strong topic neighborhood.
Can AI even read your page?
Clean HTML, server-rendered content, heading order. JavaScript-only sites hide content from many crawlers.
Should AI trust you?
Author bylines, dates, links to your sources, privacy policy, HTTPS. AI search cares about where info comes from.
